Eat Anything, But Eat Correctly
Eating seems simple right? Well, not quite. You all think that you can only eat fruits and vegetables and nothing else. WRONG! First of all, you should be having a healthy balance of foods that YOU like. Eat anything you want. You probably think I am crazy but here's the catch. You can eat anything you want, with a limit. Listen to you stomach. Take your time while eating. Chew a lot and take drinks. What is this leading to? When you eat slower, you fill up faster and stop eating! Hense, you are eating less without even knowing it. While you are eating and chewing and savoring the food, think about how much you like it and sometimes when you do this you start to like foods that are better for you and you start disliking food that is unhealthy. Once again, you are eating less and eventually healthier.
The Steps To Eating
You may have trouble doing this at first, but it's so simple I don't see why you wouldn't want to do it! Here are some techniques and tricks to do to help eat slower and stop when you're full! First, you need to not eat in front of the T.V., magazine, computer, etc. This makes your stomach eat on autopilot and you never stop eating. You need to eat where you can think about if you are full or not. Now, you take your first bite. Savor the food, taste the ingredients, chew lots, do you like it? PUT YOUR FORK/SPOON/KNIFE DOWN! Here's a big step. If you put your utensil down every time you take a bite, then you are eating slower. Take another bite, do the same thing as before. Put your utensil down, and maybe have a drink. Then ask yourself if you are full. Yes, No? Remember, listen to your stomach, not your plate. By the way, it is perfectly fine if you don't eat all of it. Think about it, the less you eat, the more left overs, then less groceries, and less money! It's a win win deal. Why wouldn't you want to do it?
